The challenge
A large oil & gas service supplier asked us to move 4 reels, a power stand and a spreader bar from the United Kingdom to the Netherlands (door to door delivery). The largest reels had a diameter of 4,95 meter and a weight of 42 Ton.
Our solution
These shipments are a good example of how Lubbers Logistics Group involved the right people, equipment and network (own offices and partners). Lubbers Road Transport UK managed the shipments from the UK side and colleagues from the headoffice in the Netherlands arranged the cranes in the two ports. The Global Freight office in Rotterdam was responsible for arranging the barges.
The result
The shipments were moved on time and due to the good cooperation between our offices and partners we have successfully transported all items.
